Learn about the difference. I am not a doctor. I am not a counselor. I am a normal person with a unique story, just like you. Some call it soul midwife, soul doula, end-of-life specialist, coach or guide. I want to share my views on life and listen to you, because we both have so much to learn on this soul's journey. Learning is freedom. I am not a medical professional. I am a social profession who is educated about how to assist individuals with the final stages of their life, particularly those with terminal illnesses and even mor specifically brain cancer.
Why the frog? It wasn't until recently I started to delve into the spiritual side off all the good things that happen in my life. I wanted to know why I was able to accomplish my goals so easily. Why was I able to avoid addiction? Why was I so blessed? Why did I alwasy come out smelling like roses, even under the most dire circumstances. And let me tell you at times, my circumstances were quite dire.
Spirit Animals seemed foreign until recently. My journey to understand death and trauma and healing has led to to this place of discovery. I want to share with you what I have discovered. I have proclamed that the frog is my mother's spiritirit animal. Probably because she LOVED them. She had shirts, socks, liscense plates, big ones on the porch, little ones on shelves, in the bathroom, in the kitchen. You name it she had it. Her collection had frog chefs, fisherman, dancing frogs, praying frogs, green frogs, orange frogs, toads, a lizard or two, crystal frogs, frog jewelery and progbably, somewhere along the way, a pair of frog underwears.
I'm choosing to honor her memory and create my own path as I simultaniously heal my own trauma and share the journey with you. I also need this journey to articulate what I have known all my life: the universe will provide.
